OVERVIEW
The story starts with Ava being stranded in rain without any transport and josh asking Alex to pick her up. Ava is a budding photographer and Alex is a COO of a real estate company which he built from scratch on his own when he was 16. Alex is a child genius with an IQ of 160 and planning a revenge over his mortal enemy. Ava is a social butterfly the ever optimist girl, drawing sunshine everywhere she goes.
When Josh leaves for his residence college year, he asks Alex to keep an eye on Ava and thus their story begins. With bickering and long fights to side glances and holding each other's eye for more than three heart beats, they have started to fall in love. Or have they?
A big betrayal happens, once the truth about the mortal enemy of Alex is out. What happens next is heart breaking. What is ava thinking of doing now? Will Alex be able to win her back?
PERSONAL THOUGHTS ABOUT THE BOOK
The book is the first book in the Twisted series and man it does not disappoint. From the dominating looks of Alex to the teasing Ava everything fits perfectly in the spin story. The plot twists are shocking, and you cannot anticipate at any point as what is written in the next few lines.
Alex calling her “sunshine” is probably my favorite nickname after Lenochka (Tempted by Rina Kent). Alex going after her just to get her back the airport scene taht a reader anticipates and never comes and the longing in there eyes. You can read everything and imagine everything just by the words of it. That’s what a good write up is! Absolutely loving the series so far. They might not be my favorite couple in the series but they are for sure my favorite story so far in the series.
